Antique print titled 'Achem, Atsjien'.

Decorative panoramic view of Atjeh on Sumatra, Indonesia. On this engraving a pagode like building is visible in the background. In the foreground sailing vessels. This print originates from 'Historische beschryving der reizen, of Nieuwe en volkoome verzameling van nieuwe en volkome verzameling van de allerwaardigste en zeldzaamste Zee- en Land-Togten' by Pieter de Hondt.

Artists and engravers: Jakob van der Schley (Amsterdam 1715-1779) was a Dutch draughtsman and engraver. He studied under Bernard Picart and became heavily influenced by his style.
